Best Men’s Skincare Routine You Can Easily Follow

  • Normal Skin

  • Oily Skin

Over-production of sebum leads to oily skin. Hormonal changes, stress or overuse of makeup and cosmetics also trigger higher sebum production.

  • Combination Skin

Imagine a ‘T’ drawn across your face. The horizontal line will get drawn straight just above your eyebrows on your forehead, while the vertical line would run down through the tip of your nose. This is known as the ‘T zone’. People who have this skin type have oily skin across the ‘T zone’ and sensitive or dry skin in the rest of their face.

  • Sensitive/ Dry Skin

Your skin easily feels dry, tight, rough and brittle which causes frequent irritations. Your skin’s elasticity also remains really low.

  • Aging Skin

When your skin starts losing volume and density and starts appearing wrinkled with visible changes in its colour, it means that you have spent years not taking care of your skin. It can also be due to actual aging process.

Once you are aware of your skin type, you can start choosing the best skin care products that would fit into your routine. Read the product labels carefully as they include the details of the skin type they are made for.

  1. Clean Your Face

A morning routine should include using a herbal and natural face cleanser that matches with your skin type. Cleaning your face helps remove the oils and impurities that accumulated overnight.

How Should I Wash My Face?

  1. Splash your face with warm water
  2. Apply facewash and gently rub all-over in circles
  3. Rinse the face with warm water
  4. Pat dry with a clean towel
  5. Use a Gentle Face Scrub

Face scrub or exfoliation is a secret weapon that should be also included in every shave routine. Do it before shaving. Preparing the skin before shaving is really important that most men miss. It removes the dead skin cells and other marks from your skin resulting in a fair complexion. Men with dry skin tone should exfoliate twice a week, while those with oily skin should scrub 3-4 times a week.

How Should You Use a Face Scrub?

  1. Wash your face with normal water
